Just a note to let
you all know about the turn out for the Karaoke
Entertainer of the Year Contest 2008 Finals.
Six singers that
sing at Effie's on a regular basis made it to the Finals.
Lynette Burmley won singer of the year in the category Country and
Matt King won singer of year in the category R&B. Then
there was a show down with all six singers in each category and
Matt King won.
The "Gold
Record" award was presented to Sherry Martin of B&S
Karaoke for "Favorite Hostess Of The Year", and the
"Gold
Record" award was also presented to Effie's for
"Favorite Karaoke Show Of The Year"!
Karaoke
Star Magazine and everyone involved did and a wonderful job
and it was a lot of fun! Congratulations
to all the winners, and I hope to see everyone involved next year.

B&S Karaoke was
also previously voted the bay area's "Best Karaoke
Show" by the Wave
Magazine.
